Alison graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida with a degree in Event/Hospitality Management and a Masters of Health Education from the University of Alabama. She has worked in restaurants and most recently a culinary college both in admissions and as an instructor. Opening Gallery Pastry has ignited one of Alison’s true passions, business consulting. She is also a member of Indy Women in Food.
Chef Ben graduated Summa Cum Laude from Le Cordon Bleu International Culinary Academy with a degree in Pastry Arts. He has been a pastry chef for nearly 15 years; spanning his experience in chocolatiers, hotels, country clubs, and now instructor to future pastry chefs. He has also received gold and medaled in a multitude of American Culinary Federation competitions, is a Certified Executive Pastry Chef, and was most recently inducted into The Disciples of Escoffier elite chef’s society.
They have now decided to further their passion and open their own unique shop in Indy focused on European pastry and plated desserts. They are both excited to share their love of food and join the already talented Indy food scene!

Ariel has over ten years of experience in the Indianapolis restaurant community. From early years of hosting and bussing, to wine stewardship and management, she strives to create a warm environment where guests’ needs are understood and their expectations exceeded. She values organization and efficiency.
Ariel holds a BFA in printmaking and book arts from Herron School of Art and Design. Her hobbies include bookbinding, paper collecting, drawing, painting, and houseplant care. Her artistic background informs her attention to detail and creative problem solving.
A few special skills include a professional and enthusiastic phone presence, list-making, and team-leadership.
